CIO
In his role as CIO, Mr. Averill oversees Avercast, LLC’s engineering team and guides all day-to-day software development initiatives. Mr. Averill also oversees all software interfacing initiatives with other enterprise level software platforms.
Joe joined up with his grandfather, Gene Averill, and the Avercast team in 2009. Joe has worked in the capacity of a software engineer, sr. software engineer and software team leader before eventually assuming his current position of CIO.
Joe Averill is fluent in Bulgarian, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University. Joe enjoys traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. Joe is a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoys long scenic rides in the Rocky Mountains on one of his bikes.
